The Maria Gonds wear bison horn, raw silk
and they carry feathers that are handed from father to son. These gonds
give importance to head dress to such an extent that they exchange a
bullock for a pair of good horns.

The traditional ceremony is simple and

includes the Murias tribal drum dance.
They are well known for their drum
dances called as Mandri. This is played with the drum beats and
specifically done by the boys. Girls also join them, but appear
