natural beauty and Maharashtra is a heaven for nature lovers. There are
wildlife parks and wildlife sanctuaries that have an extensive range of
vegetation parks.
They are the home to many animals and
birds that includes tiger, bison, crocodile, neelgai, sambar, gawa,
wild deer, and many rare species of migratory birds.
The wildlife in Maharashtra has good
wildlife parks that are well equipped with jeep ride, night safaris,
comfortable accommodation as well as efficient transport.
They present an outstanding view of
the animals in their natural abode. Apart from the present Maharashtra
wildlife sanctuaries, few steps are considered by the state government
to form new parks and sanctuaries.

The Mahim Nature Park is sited near
Dharavi; this is one of the largest slum areas in Asia. This park is
spread to an area of 450 acres and is built in an aim to conserve the
natural beauty as well as the estuarine ecosystem of that region.
The streams of this park provide the birds
as well as marine life to flourish with the saline marsh land
completely shading the mangroves providing home to numerous animals.

wildlife in Maharashtra is given importance in the aim of preserving.
The Kamala bird’s sanctuary is sited
near Mumbai and is a lovely weekend destination for bird watchers. You
can spot lovely birds such as babblers, drongoes, sunbirds and orioles.
Apart from these, you can see colorful
birds with male flycatchers with their unusual silvery white tail. The
Maharashtra wildlife does not have a wide collection, but there are few
that they try to protect.
However, the wildlife in Maharashtra
in the Melghat tiger reserve is sited in the Satpura ranges and the
animals found here are sloth bear, tiger, wild dog, hyena, sambar,
barking deer, nilgai, wild boar and four horned antelope.

wildlife in Maharashtra. The Borivli wildlife park is a respite from
the city buzz. This park is famous as picnic sport. It looks scenic
with lush greenery, fresh streams and silk cotton trees.
A mini train takes you to the enchanting
park. The Maharashtra wildlife can be found in the Bhimashankar
wildlife sanctuary. This is rich and includes animals such as leopards,
barking deers, hanuman langurs, wild boars and rhesus macaques.
The sanctuary has lots of Jyotivanti trees
that glow in the dark also during monsoon. All these appeal the park
and are worth visiting.
