He taught the boys and convinced that dancing and singing are also the forms of prayer.

The Orissa dances include Tandava as well as Lasya elements. Odissi is graceful than all other dances of Orissa. The torso movement in the Odissi dance is viewed as important. It takes five to seven years of training and a whole dedication to master.
