in this sanctuary. Apart from tigers, even leopards, crocodiles,
elephants, reptiles reside in this wildlife sanctuary in Orissa along
with over 231 bird species. This sanctuary is visited by several

wildlife sanctuary has the endangered species such as the Indian
crocodiles, Asiatic lion, Nilgiri langur, mouse, Indian Pangolin,
Shanghai lion tailed macaque, deer and numerous birds, fish and
reptiles at Nanadankannan. The other attractions are fresh water
fishes.
The reptile park entrance is guarded by
dinosaur, lizard turtles and snakes. The wildlife sanctuary in Orissa
has boating and toy train facilities. Bhitarkanika sanctuary is a
sanctuary to protect the estuarine crocodiles. Moreover, it is a
natural habitat for crocodiles, wild pigs, rhesus monkey, pythons, king
cobra, sambars, etc. The white crocodile is the pride possession and
also the pride of Orissa wildlife.
