The other forms are Birha, Chaiti and
Kajari. Apart from these, the other art forms Rasia, Tappa, Khayal and

obvious as it has produced some masters of music genres.
The Uttar Pradesh culture is prominent
in its popular dance form, Kathak. This dance originated in the Royal
courts and has traversed a lengthy path ever since its inception.
The other dance forms are also quite
significant, but mostly all the dances are devoted to Lord Krishna.
Ras-lila is popular and this form of art is confined to the Braj region
and they owe it to the existence of Lord Krishna.
The culture of Uttar Pradesh includes
poetry to a very great extent. This is in Hindi, Urdu and Awadhi and
this state boasts of producing many laureates.

their cuisines. They have an array of dishes to offer to their
visitors. The choice ranges from Galawati and Kakori kabobs of Oudh to
Rampuri Tahri and fish in Western Uttar Pradesh.
The platter is filled with sweet dishes
including the Peda and Petha from Mathura and Agra. The Uttar Pradesh
culture has a lot to offer in every front in respect to culture, so
