The pilgrim places in Ayodhya include the Nageshwarnath temple. The temple of Nageshwarnath is believed to have established by the son of Lord Rama, Kush.

History says that this temple is the only reminiscence that stood even after terrific ruins amidst dense forests, and was the only evidence that helped King Vikramaditya to locate Ayodhya.

The Shivrathri festival is celebrated with great pomp. Almost all the Uttar Pradesh temples are built during the reigns of rulers of the historic times and has a legend associated. Hanuman Garhi is also a very prominent temple in Ayodhya. Legend says that Lord Hanuman lived in a cave here and safeguarded the Ramkot.Uttar Pradesh temples cannot miss the pilgrim places of Mathura.

Some of the temples are the Dwarkadish temple where the Holi and Janmashtami are celebrated with great fervor. The temple carvings are a great attraction. The other temples are Shiva temple, Radharamana temple, Rangaji temple and Jugal Kishore temple.

The temples in Uttar Pradesh include the pilgrim places of Varanasi. The Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple and the Tulsi Manas temple.
