Some of the Kumaonese dances are the Jharva, Chandhur Chhapalior and various other folk dance forms. The seasonal folk dances are Jhumeila, the Hurka Baul and the Chaufula of Garhwal. The accompanied instruments for such dances are not many and the dance movements are crisp. They move in harmony to the rhythm and the dances are presented in a gracious style.
